Poor fam visit and more

So sorry I haven't posted in a while. My family was here last week and we were busy having tuns of fun. We went to Island Park and I had to drive through some scary snowy parts (ever since my car spun out on the interstate I have been scared to drive on snow, which isn't good for one who lives in Idaho) and we got to see the big fish at Big Spring. It was really cool. the next day we went to craters of the moon which is out toward Arco Idaho, It was a beautiful day and we were able to explore the volcanic anomolies viewable there. It was a fun week and I was so sad when they all had to leave but glad they were able to come when they did. This week Nathan has been working on school, he only has one more week left of the semester YAY. Trying to ballance christmas shopping and still get the homework done has been challenging. Its been fun though and I have posted some pics from our fun reciently.

FHE

Yesterday was Monday and for family home evening we decided to go and enjoy the beauty of the earth. We went up to Island Park and drove around looking at the places Nathan stayed and worked when he was working there. It was really foggy when we went up and it gave to forest and mountains a spooky appearance. As we drove around it started to rain and than snow, by the time we got to big Spring it was coming down really good. It was also getting dark and that is why some of our pictures are sort of dark and bleary. Zoie when we got out was scared of the snow and so I ended up carying her most of the time and Isaac was in nathans coat with him and he was grumpy becasye he was facing in and couldnt see any thing (I think that was why he was upset anyway). but that is where most of this set of pictures is from. I am throughing in a couple from around halloween too.

Its happy Halloween time and we are getting ready to go trick-or-treating with Zoie and Isaac. Zoie is going as a scare crow and Isaac is a cute little cow. Nathan and I have had two costumes for this Halloween, I was a pioneer lady for the ward party and am a pirate lady for our other haloween party this week. Nathan was Indiana Jones for the ward party and is a gimpy pirate for this weeks party. I am excited because for our party this week I am making a cake and I think that it has turned out good, I will post a pic later tomorow maybe. Other than halloween Nathan has had alot of homework and I have been hanging out with the kids, oh, and accidentally slicing myself with a knife. I was making a mast for my pirate ship and my knife slipped, I ended up going to the hospital to have my fingner glued back together. It diddnt feel so good. Well thats been our life for the past couple days.

We are a happy family

Today we had story time at the library and we read Halloween stories, what fun!! Getting ready for Halloween has been a blast and we are looking forward to putting on our costumes and having a blast. Yesterday Zoie and I made ghosts to hang in our apartment out of blow pops and kleenex and string. It was most fun, they are flying over our table around the spider that we made at toddler group. Isaac has been most adorable also over the last couple days, with his happy smiles and cooing. Nathan has been working non-stop on homework and I have been communicating with the car people to get our car fixed. Life for us is never boring.

Wow today it feels like fall here in Rexburg and thats ok because fall is great. Zoie is expanding her mind while watching little Einstine, she is learning many different words and is growing so fast. Her favorite wor now I think is either Cow or NO!! she is so much fun. Isaac continues to grow as well, doing new and excitting things each day. He has started smiling as you can see from the preveous picture and also now makes cute cooing nioses. he is well on his way to doubbling his weight and catching up to his sister. Nathan is at school today, I have seen him all of 30 min since he was late getting home from work today. He is working so hard on all of his classes which all have mountains of home work. I am working on laundry today and need to go get quarters, I cant wate to someday have a washer and dryer so that I dont have to go out to wash cloths and so I dont have to use all my quarters on laundry also. Last night Nathan and I played a fun game of Munchkins with friends from our ward. I diddnt win but thats ok, it was tons of fun. well now I am off to the store to get some quarters.

A night to remember, The Epic Battle

The great epic munchkin battle commenced and all played for dear life. The battle was close with all players running neck and neck throughout the night. Myself, Jen, Aaron, Mandy, Tyrell, and Nathan fought with all we had accomplishing underhanded tricks and heroic rescues of our sometimes comrades. As the game progressed it was clear that only one of us would be the winner, but who would it be? As the bell tolled midnight Jen made the final kill to win the game and the crouds went wild. What a game!!! Until next time folks.
