Random Pix

Zoie said, "Zoie making a mess" she was dripping creamy wheat on the table.
We went to Winco and got some squash, Nathan decorated them when we got home.
When we were at Winco also I needed a specific veggie (that shall not be named because everyone may know what it looks like but me and than I would feel silly, so better it be a mysterious vegetable) and I didn't know what it looked like and they didn't have them labeled, so I asked a worker there and he pointed and said its over by the crate, so descriptive I know, I had also pronounced it wrong when I asked him because he corrected me, so I felt extra silly. I wandered over to where he pointed with that determined walk that says "I have no clue what you were pointing at but I don't want to look dumb so I am going to grab the first thing I touch and pretend like I need it" I grabbed that big white and green veggie with the tall stalks bagged it and put it in my cart all the while ignoring the look the worker was giving me. when I got it to the check out I discreetly glanced at the screen as she scanned it in and knew that I had been wrong, it was not my mysterious vegetable but anise (I hope that is spelled right) What do I do with anise. If any of you have any Ideas please let me know.

Leek vs. Leak

So the other day I was reading a recipe, Nathan was looking at something and we had been sitting there quietly reading for a time. The recipe I was reading called for leeks and since they are not something we have regularly I turned to Nathan and said "hey, have you ever had a leek?" he heard "Hey, have you ever had a leak?" so he in return said "What kind of a question is that?" His tone was one of confused astonishment. It was so funny we both started laughing and since then when ever we see the word leek or leak we have to laugh.
